About: It was late at night, almost midnight, and I was searching for a quote to tweet. Something inspirational, something grand, something witty. I decided on “You must do what you can’t do” by Eleanor Roosevelt. I thought…”do what you can’t do?” For sure I can’t start a social media phenom. I can’t even come up with my own quotes. Why can’t I, I thought? What makes famous people’s quotes better than mine? Maybe they’re not.  Maybe we all have great quotes languishing in obscurity. Then the words floated into my head, “Dude, quote me.” I navigated to a domain registrar and the site was born.

At Dude Quote Me, you can spread your words of wisdom. This is the place to come to make quotes, rate other people’s quotes, and share quotes with your friends. Come back often and play in our “make quotes” sandbox.

Privacy: Dudequote.me requests some information such as e-mail address, handle, and website when leaving a comment. Each item (except for handle) is optional and used solely to determine that poster is a real person and not attempting to spam the site. No information is sold or otherwise shared with third parties.
