With the economy the way it has been, you might think, “What is there to give thanks for these days?” But, hey, we’re not living in caves and using clubs. In door plumbing and central heat is fantastic. The US is still a democracy, we can give our opinions without fear. The US still has a pioneering, go West young man culture. These are things I give thanks for. What do you give thanks for this year? This post will stay open through the end of the month.

Today is the day after yesterday and the day before tomorrow, but it’s the only day that matters when it comes to accomplishing anything. Show your appreciation for the present by honoring it with the attention it deserves.

Be thankful that November’s holiday, with the traffic nightmares which accompany it, is not repeated every week of the year.

Be thankful for what you have, even if you don’t have enough. If you have more than enough, share with those that are deserving and be thankful you are able to do so.

Show your appreciation for life’s most vital resources by supporting initiatives to sustain the integrity of our planet’s solar, atmospheric and water systems. These are the big three that are truly too big to fail.

Give thanks for diversity…without it things would be staid, static and stagnant.
